neil-gaiman:

You remember how I told everyone the plot of Season 2 before it aired?

(Everyone tries to remember and then shakes their heads.)

That’s right. I didn’t. I spent several years going “wait and see”. And you waited and you saw.

I’m not going to reveal any of the plot of Season 3, either. So there’s really no point in asking me to make things happen, or to tell me what you do or you don’t want to happen. I’m not going to.

Because it’s good to feel things, and it’s good to care about people and things, even if they don’t exist, and it’s good to want to know what happens next.

The taste is immaculate from all of them we fear.

Good morning Neil Gaiman

I was wondering, if it still counts if new accounts watch the 2nd season of good omens, after the 28 day mark to get a season 3. I just sall one post about a deadline, and you said 28 days after the release. So does it still count?

Thank you very much, and have a good day.

angelbookshopowner angelbookshopowner Said:

neil-gaiman:

They still keep track of it beyond 28 days and it may well help. Right now we are in the middle of a Writers Strike and an Actors Strike.

Mr Gaiman,

i think you owe us an apology dance, good omens has changed me.

neil-gaiman:

That sounds like cause for a victory dance, not an apology dance.

I don’t think Crowley thinks Aziraphale doesn’t love him after that rejection.

Even in his speech he talks about THEM and how they stopped pretending they’re aren’t a thing.

He felt Aziraphale’s hands.

He knows. That’s why he’s heartbroken. Not because he thinks he was wrong, but because he knows he is right and yet…

It’s that moment when you know but you can’t do anything about it.

If Aziraphale simply rejected him because he didn’t want him, Crowley would have simply left. He wouldn’t be waiting. But he was.

THATS WHAT IM SAYINGGG!!! There’s many parallels between their s1 breakup to their s2 divorce but I think a lot about “I don’t even like you” “You do!” Because even though it wasn’t said with romantic intention back then, it still shows that Crowley recognizes his worth (to some extent at least). He is not so fragile to think that, despite how Aziraphale’s actions might outwardly be seen, he doesn’t mean the world to Azi. He knows the bond they share- they carved out a peaceful slice of life for themselves and were perfectly content until the Second Coming was being enforced. In his confession to Aziraphale, he speaks not only about how he feels, how he knows he can rely on Azi and how much Azi means to him, but that they both know Azi can rely on him too and that they both need each other. He’s acknowledging that its mutual, even if Azi won’t say so. He knows.

Aziraphale loves Crowley. Crowley knows Aziraphale loves him. It’s just that Heaven also knows this and is far too good at pulling the strings of life to work in their favor.
